In a world where trees have their own digital assistants that help them access information and control their environment, will they make their existence more convenient?

For centuries of perceived human superiority, people have created and manipulated the environment to their own ends. If AI emancipates itself from humans, might trees be better hosts for technology? What might be the value of AI for self-governed trees? What role will humans play in it – Masters? Servants? Partners?
